2. What We Collect

This website is designed to minimize data collection.

We collect:

• Email address, only if you voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter.
• Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, request time, page accessed), automatically generated by our hosting provider Cloudflare. These logs are used for security and performance only and are deleted within 30 days.

We do NOT collect:

• Personally identifiable information beyond what you explicitly provide.
• Behavioral tracking data.
• Marketing or advertising profiles.

3. Cookies and Tracking

This website uses no cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking technology. No consent banner is shown because none is legally required under GDPR or the ePrivacy Directive.

4. Why We Collect Email Addresses

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send you updates about Vaken (the iOS app) and content related to breathwork and nervous system regulation. Emails are sent via Resend (see Section 6).

Legal basis: Your explicit consent under GDPR Article 6(1)(a). We use a double opt-in process: you'll receive a confirmation email and must click the link to confirm your subscription.

5. How Long We Keep Your Data

• Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe (link in every email).
• Server logs: automatically deleted after 30 days.

6. Third Parties (Sub-Processors)

We use the following service providers:

• Cloudflare (website hosting and CDN). Receives standard server logs. Global infrastructure.
• Resend (sending newsletter emails). Receives email addresses of subscribers. EU-based.
• Apple Inc. (App Store distribution). When you click an App Store link, you leave this site and become subject to Apple's privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

7. International Data Transfers

Cloudflare may process data in countries outside the EU/EEA. We rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for these transfers as required under GDPR Article 46.

8. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify inaccurate data.
• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restrict processing.
• Port your data to another service.
• Object to processing.
• Withdraw consent at any time.

We use industry-standard security: HTTPS encryption, Cloudflare's DDoS protection, and access controls on our systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced at the top of this page, and the "Last updated" date will be revised accordingly.
